The latest city series from Absolut, Brooklyn is a red apple and ginger flavored vodka reminiscent of city life. The bottle was designed by Brooklyn native Spike Lee to be reminiscent of the stoop where he grew up. The bottle has tons of fun little deign goodies including the Lars Olsson Smith seal, in which Lars is tricked out as Mars Blackmon, need we say more ? Building on a four century tradition of producing vodka at Åhus, Absolut Vodka was introduced in 1879 by the entrepreneur Lars Olsson Smith. Absolut is the third largest brand of alcoholic spirits in the world after Bacardi and Smirnoff, marketed in 126 countries. The largest export market is the United States where close to 73 million litres were sold in 2003. More than 40% of the imported vodka in the United States is Absolut. Absolut Brooklyn has a wonderful ginger apple aroma, it is quite pleasant on the nose. On the tongue, it is not overly sweet with a well balanced use of ginger and apple flavors. It is very refreshing served over ice with a splash of soda, and of course there are cocktails :
* Stoop Party
* Absolut Brooklyn Ginger
* Sunset Twist
