Fruit and flowers kitchen window valance 2 pc 68 inches excellent 1940s barkcloth vintage hc2816

A 2 piece valance totalling 68 inches flat. (34 inches each) The fabric is bark cloth. The pattern is baskets of fruits and flowers, specifically grapes, cherries, daisies, peonies, pineapple, limes, apples, roses, strawberries and what looks like a half grapefruit in a bowl. The valance is 13 inches deep. The rod pocket is 2 inches deep or you can use clips.

I bought these from a post WWII cottage estate sale. Everything else in the house seemed to have been put there in the late 40s and early 50s so I assume these are of the same age.

I used them at my kitchen window for about 8 years. I have lost my kitchen window now but this valance is still in great condition. No damage of any kind and the colors are still bright. They are just perfect for a vintage/retro kitchen or breakfast nook, or cut them up and make kitchen appliance covers or toss cushions.
