In Good used condition. Four of the notches on the front cover have torn through, there is creasing and a chip on the back cover, and general cover wear. Age-tanned page margins and smudges on a few page edges.
I think the main attraction of this little book are the wonderful illustrations. They are very 1950s in feel. I only found one other book online illustrated by Baye Mizumura, it's a shame because I think these are fantastic.
But the foods sound very good, too. There are recipes from Hawaii, Japan, the Phillipines, China, India, Russia, Korea, Thailand (when it was still called Siam in the West), Malaysia, Sri Lanka (when it was Ceylon) and a few others. The author, who was a Personnel Officer in the Army, collected these recipes when she lived and traveled in the East and befriended people of many nations.
