1949-50 Blotter / School Calendar - CAROLINA BIOLOGICAL SUPPLY COMPANY
Here's an interesting collectible, a blotter advertising the products of the Carolina Biological Supply Company of Elon College, North Carolina. They offered a "Complete Culture Collection", including Protozoa, Invertebrates, Algae, Bacteria, and Fungi. The blotter also carried a calendar for the 1949-1950 school year.
Size: approx. 3-3/8"" x 7-7/8"
Date: 1949-1950
Condition: Good, I'd say. Clearly the blotter side has been somewhat used for its intended purpose, but the advertising side is only lightly soiled with just a few numbers written in ink near the left edge. (Please see scans.)
