This collector tin was issued in 1953 or earlier by Riley Brothers of Halifax Yorkshire England. It originally contained 5¾ ounces or 163 grams of Riley's Toffee. The tin is round at 4½ inches in diameter and 2 inches high. The top has a picture of a pheasant family in tall grass. Around the side are sprigs of wild flowers--looks like lavender and gorse.
The tin is in excellent condition. No dings or rust or paint scratches and the inside is clean and very usable. It is hard to believe it is more than 53 years old.
