Pierre Cardin Paris polyester square scarf 30 inches butterfly on flower Exc vintage ll2964

Interesting and dramatic polyester scarf that is 30 inches square and in very good to excellent vintage condition.

I did not realize the motif till I was looking at the photos. The main body of the scarf is a very large butterfly or moth on a large open flower. The small green dots are at the ends of the feelers and the large dots are the spots on the wings. The flower is purple. The butterfly is black and royal blue with hot pink bell shapes on the front wing lobes. The border is an abstract frame of shapes incorporating all the colors of the scarf center. All very dark and mysterious.

The scarf is signed Pierre Cardin Paris and has both the PC tag and the fabric tag. Made in Italy.
