Covered butter dish Basket weave ceramic made Japan vintage hc1141

This made in Japan covered butter dish is ceramic. It is molded to look like a woven wicker basket scattered with little flowers. The knob is two flowers. The plate is rimmed in green. The dish holds a half pound piece of butter perfectly. The plate is 5½ x 6½ inches, the cover is 4 x 5 x 2 inches high with an extra inch for the knob. No chips or cracks but lots of crazing. If you like the aged look you will love this. It is marked on the bottom in black, Made in Japan.
