Only a few of these rare octagon barns remain today.
They may be seen in historic Ozaukee County, near Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
Most were built in the 1880's and 90's;
their shapes served to economically enclose space and resist the strong winds off Lake Michigan.
There are no supports inside; and the vast open space cannot be imagined unless one is standing inside these huge shells.
Designed to fit a frame size of 12" x 16".
Kit is new in package.
Contents includes stamped picture on homespun approximately 15" x 20", acrylic yarn, needle, and complete easy to follow instructions.
