This is a marvelous outfit from the clothing stash of the talented dollmaker in another city. It features a beige voile christening gown with rows of ecru lace cascading down the front and banding the hem. Neckline, yoke, and sleeve bottoms echo the lace with 2 matching bows on the yoke. The cap is a froth of matching lace and ribbons. The cotton slip and panties are a slightly lighter shade.
The dress is 23" long, shoulders 7-1/2" wide, sleeves are 7" from armhold to edge of lace. The cap measures 11" around the brim (it's difficult to measure around as you would for a wig since there is a bit of stretch.) My guess is that these were handmade for this dollmaker.
This is quite a production for a lucky doll...what a way to display!
If your dolls need some new things, this is a good way to add to their wardrobes!
