Victorian Trade Card - Arbuckle Brothers Coffee Company - Farm Woman Feeding Calves (#95)
SERIES: Birds and Miscellany
This is one of a series of 50 cards issued by Arbuckles', probably in the late 1880's, depicting birds (#51-#69) and other miscellaneous subjects (#70-#100), and advertising their "Ariosa" coffee.
This one depicts a farm woman in a blue and yellow dress feeding 2 calves, one white and one brown.
The back carries Arbuckles' familiar "4 Points" sales pitch.
SIZE: 5" x 3"
DATE: Not dated, but likely late 1880s
LITHOGRAPHER: Not identified
CONDITION: Fine, I'd say. This card is only very lightly soiled with just slightly worn edges and corners. There appear to be several tiny flecks of extraeous white paper stuck to the front, which mostly blend in with the white polka dots in the woman's blue dress. (Please see scans.)
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
