Acrylic on canvas panel. Dimensions: 16" x 20", unframed. Name of this title came before the painting This fine art painting is named after my father's middle name Urby. A strange,but true story behind the name. When my father applied for World War II ,he found out that his real name was Joseph Urby and not William Joseph.During baptismal, his godparents decided to named him Joseph Urby and since his parents were not there, they were not aware of the name change.This is why it is related to the sitcom "Cheers", which featured the bar of the same name. If you listen to the Cheer's opening jingle, there is a part of the song that mention everybody knows your name.However,this has the opposite effect "In the Garden of Urby", where nobody knows your name ,not even you.
