This stunningly preserved example of The Eastman Kodak Company of Rochester New York's first "Pocket Camera" is not only a desirable collectable due to its condition and pedigree, it also has a feature not often found in other examples of this item:
Just to the left of the lens sits, in its own specially designed holster is a beautifully detailed steel stylus that is used to slide open a small slot on the rear of the camera that exposes a small strip of the film. The stylus is then used to either sign, date or write a small message directly onto the film that would then be visible when the film was developed.
This remarkably simple yet ingenious detail significantly sets this camera aside from its "Lesser" cousins.
This is a beautiful addition to any collection and would make an excellent gift for the camera enthusiast.
