In Very Good used condition, a few small discolorations on the cloth covers, corner tips bumped. A few spots and erasure marks on ffep, gift inscription in ink on title page, owner's stamp on half-title and dedication pages. Gilt on spine and front cover bright and crisp. Interior pages slightly age-toned, clean, unmarked.
This book is a collection of records through a research of the past Carriage, Wagon, Harness and accessory business from 1850 to 1935. The research started in 1955 for a period of 10 years. Questionaires were distributed throughout the United States and Canada, to men who were at one time in the various businesses. The replies are all contained in this book.
