Vintage 1940's HALL China Cadet Blue 6 Cup Teapot with Cadet Hook Lid

VINTAGE Antique HALL 6-CUP TEAPOT . A LOVELY BLUE and GILDED GOLD POTTERY TEA POT.

Marked MADE IN USA HALL on bottom. and number in gold. GILDED GOLD motif on sides. Ovoid Round form with NICE swing looped HANDLE and unique lid handle.

It gets it's name from a small hook on the body over which an opening in the lid fits to lock into place.

MARKED ON BOTTOM: (In Gold lettering) HALL 0749 6-cup MADE IN USA. Then underneath the gold in a circle HALL.

Measures about 5.758" tall including lid handle and is about 9.25" long including spout & handle. It's about 4.75" across at middle.

Condition: VERY GOOD CONDITION. NO crazing. The gold is perfect, no wear. Only flaw is a slight angled sliver chip underneath the spout. (Please see photos.)
