The Olympics is still going strong and Team Canada is still a strong candidate to win the gold medals in hockey. Fingers crossed on that one!:) Here for sale is when team Canada performed exceptionally to win the gold in both in the men's and ladies hockey teams during the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics. Awesome games they were and the cover of the Toronto Star the next day featured both teams entitled 'Pure Gold'. I regret I never kept that newspaper, but amazingly years later I acquired something better. I have here a copy of the same newspaper front cover of the Toronto Star that has been duplicated and made into a wall plaque or mural. It's in very good shape with a little bit of edge wear and one light scratch on the top picture, otherwise excellent. It is off white in colour.
A great collectible and very seasonable too! It measures 18.5" x 25" approx. and is 1/2" thick.
