A hard to find Doo Wop rare 45 recorded by THE DIABLOS at the tiny Fortune Studios building in Detroit, Michigan. Fortune Studios was in a building that had their studio in the back (the studio originally had a dirt floor), and the front of the building was a store front where Fortune Label records were sold. Fortune Studios were known for producing very raw-sounding recordings.
This 45 is clean and retains much of its original glossy luster. Even under a lamp the vinyl shows only a bit of light surface marking and a small amount of light scuffs and very light scratches. There is nothing that can be felt on the grooves and it plays strong with a bit of surface noise and a bit of ticking.
