The strand has been cleaned, restrung and added with a sterling silver tassel.It is made ofBordeaux Color MISKETA which in fact is a high quality vintage phenolic based resin - very probably from previous Chekoslovakia which produced excellent quality products and that was very much in vogue in the 1930's. It is a highly collectable item due to its age and rarity of the material. Such a material is often called FATURAN and soldat very high prices as Faturan - which in fact it is NOT.
