Spanish surrealist Salvador Dali's The Burning Giraffe (1937)
Painted shortly before the beginning of the second World War, Dalí described this image as “the masculine cosmic apocalyptic monster.” He believed it to be a premonition of war.
Dalí employed extensive symbolism in his work. The burning giraffe appears in a number of his works.
Our art dresses are printed by hand in limited quantities using long lasting non toxic "watercolor technique" dyes on a wax press. Soft and durable cotton-poly blend. Shipped brand new in poly bag. This dress will not shrink. We recommend hand wash or machine wash on gentle setting, hang to dry.
