Smith.This item is in good condition with some light soiling and scuffing of the cover. All pages are clean and tight.Chapters include: Our Flag, Morale, Certain Men, War, Religion, Youth and Politics, Speech, Liquor, Criticism of Certain Critics, Differing Ideas, Initiative, Organization and Success and the future. This copy is signed "To Floyd and Margaret Marshall with best wishes sincerely Donald F. Smith 12-23-52". I am including in this product a folded paper that was in the book that was prepared in a typewriter, it reads "During the past few years I have asked various members of the office force to cooperate in drives for charity. For once I wanted to give you something as a token of appreciation. Some of you know that I served in Alaska and the Aleutians during the war and that I wrote a patriotic book about 10 years ago. I sold both of my editions out but found a back order of a couple hundred books when I returned to Anchorage, Alaska.
