These two napkins are from the early 1950s judging by the fabric. They are however spotlessly clean and without any damage. Were probably the least used and only survivors of a set.
The napkins are nubby woven cotton printed with pears, raspberries, figs, and maybe an apricot. The edges are hand crocheted lace that is worked into the fabric with blanket stitching. They are 13 x 14 inches not including the lace edging.
Crafters these would make great toss cushion faces to use in a kitchen nook or on the patio.
