This very old dresser scarf is made in three sections of cotton fabric joined by strips of hand crocheted lace. The whole piece is also edged with more hand crocheted lace on three sides. the back side is plain.
The embroidery is circlets of pink flowers with a centers of embroidered windowpane check and the center piece is just an arc of pink flowers. One idiocyncrasy in the embroidery is a swirl of blue on one of the end pieces.
The piece is 17 x 36 inches. The condition is very good for a piece this old. It has been used a lot but it has no stains, loose embroidery or thin spots. It is consistently old. Great piece for shabby decors.
