Here's another artifact from the late, great WUSA - a San Diego Spirit 2003 Schedule MagnetThis souvenir was never sold in stores, and could only be obtained by going to the game. In many cases gameday swag was only given to the first few thousand paying in attendance and among fans, having this proves you were there.The San Diego Spirit is part of the Women's United Soccer Association, which suspended operation in August 2003 as a result of lack of sponsorship. San Diego Spirit players include Shannon MacMillan, Julie Foudy, Kim Pickup, Allie Sullivan, Joy Fawcett, Shannon Boxx, Julie Fleeting, Shauna Rohbock, Amy Sauer, Margaret Tietjen, Aly Wagner and Jaime Pagliarulo.The WUSA has been supplanted by the WPS, WPSL and the USL W-League regional women's soccer leagues.
