Bands around the armhole and neck edges finish the bodice which is styled with a tucked front. An opening at the back of the neck is featured. Soft pleats at the waistline release fullness in the front of the skirt and darts fit the skirt back. Slanting pockets are featured and a self or purchased belt encircles the waist. Darts at the waistline fit the brief jacket which has a Peter Pan collar, patch pocket and three-quarter kimono sleeves edges with cuffs. A front-button closing is featured. Style 1 jacket is lined with dress fabric and top-stitching is used as trimming.
