Embroidered Aida cloth Scandinavian cross stitch orange brown threadwork hem hc2615

This fastidiously cross-stitched cloth is great size as a tray cloth or table topper for a small table. The fabric is the Aida cloth traditionally used for Hardanger embroidery. It is 23 x 24 inches and has a half inch hem neatly finished in threadwork. The embroidery has a Scandinavian flavor and is worked in dark tangerine and chocolate brown.

Condition is superior vintage.
