This quintet grew out of the world fusion group Happy Valley in 1999, and set out on a journey to connect with ancient times. Medieval music is kicked into life with their violin, cello, guitar, bass and timpani combination, and stretching themselves, they take on 'O Fortuna' from Carl Orff's 'Carmina Burana' and create a towering masterpiece. The Mundi Ensemble live in Austin, Texas where they perform to audiences small and large. They aim to spread their sound out into the United States and beyond.
