Beautiful mint green colored long sleeve shirt from the late 1940s/ early 1950s, made by Town Topic. The print is an abstract of tropical Monstera fronds. Made of washable rayon, with a beautiful drape, still in wonderful wearable condition. The fabric feels soft and sueded, not the slick 40s rayon. Styled with a long pointed loop and button collar, two tabbed pockets, back yoke with pleats, double stitched seams. Buttons are matching green. Label reads "PILGRIM / Made and Styled in California / Sears Roebuck and Co USA / Washable".
Very good condition! Not faded as it appears in some pictures, color is still vivid. There are some stain spots at the right edge of the collar and right back shoulder, these are shown. There is also a a frayed 1 1/2" tear at the back yoke seam, shown in the last picture.
Please check the measurements against something that fits you well! Chest 43"; waist 42"; neck buttoned 15 1/2"; shoulder seam width 19"; sleeves along underarm seam 21", from center label to cuffs 33.5"; front length 24.5".
