Edgy 1OAK Look Lace Up Back Saga Top $118
This is absolutely the most incredible and cuttinge edge top of the season. This is one of those killer styles you just don't see everywhere and you will absolutely love this one. I am hoping the pictures show what I'm speechless to explain...and the color is true dark coco!
But take a look at all the details. First, this one has lingerie straps, and they are light -- feeling like ribbon -- but the ribbon is elastic so you've got some extra play in the fit, too. As far as the fabric goes, there are two "looks"--a matte coco and a shinier coco.
All around the tippity top there is beautiful "S" trim. The top front "cups" are lined, and because of the sort of "accordian" pleating, they are really defined.
In the very center of the bust there are added "streamers" of the matte fabric that can be tied or just left to "I don't care" hang like I'm showing in the picture. This has a very defined Athena empire waist. Where the body of the blouse is joined at the empire waist, it's the shinier fabric, but in addition there are added coco ribbons and lace sewn vertically.
The matte fabric is pieced in at either side and around the back. At the back, the matte fabric comes back in the center, where the loops and laces to either cinch up, corset style run. (Oh, if only I could post a second picture!)
There is an asymmetrical "skirt" piece, but then under that is the big asymmetrical teeny "accordion" pleated "skirt". It has ribbon sewn horizontally and then lace at the bottom. This skirted piece is split at the bottom left where the blouse is the longest. There are two added rumpled "streamers" at the first ruffle, too.
I talked about the back a little bit, but just wanted to end by stating that those two "skirts" can also be found at the back, below the lacing.
Sorry to be so verbose, I can only show the one picture here at ecrater, so I want to explain the best I can.
Euro Size 1 Boutique Sizing ==M==Check measurements below. (The company calls their size 1 a M-it's more of a bigger S to me but there is plenty of stretch, too).
The main fabric is a heavier poly (no disco dan poly--it's got a great "hand") and it's heavier so no see-thru.
You'll want to hand wash cold and lay flat to dry. If you don't like the "pleating" you can steam it out, too. But for the photos, I removed these from the packaging, gave them a shake and hung them. NO KIDDING. This one's a great traveler!
Totally has that funky boho "I don't care" look. You will not be disappointed. It is gorgeous and here are measurements:
This is a size 1 Euro sizing so it is what the Co. calls Medium, but they are crumpled and there's lots of give so can go up or down. (These run 0-XS-S, 1-S-M, 2-M-L, 3-L-XL--and this is my perception of the sizing) It is more of a juniors cut to me, but again; lots of stretch. I have layed this flat and measured across the front. There is a boatload of stretch, but I have tried really hard NOT to stretch it. Since there is a lot of stretch, forgive me if I'm a little off--my measurements are approximate.
Remember, I measure across the front only, so double and then subtract your own "wiggle room"
Bust: 17" across the front with the back lacing tied (it can be cinched or loosened a good 4"-5" either way). Remember, too there is stretch! At the first ruffle it's 19" from side to side. At the bottom the measurement is 31" across the front.
Length: 28"-35" from the short to the longer asymmetrical side-- you can get another 4" either way from the adjustable straps.
Isn't this KILLER? And why so cheap you ask? Because it's the last one. I've got it below cost now. Of course, it's new with tags like everything I sell.
