Here's a very nice unused glossy postcard featuring the Children's Zoo and Farm at the Chicago Zoological Park (commonly known as the Brookfield Zoo).
The card is identified on the back as a MIRRO-KROME CARD BY H.S. CROCKER CO.., INC., SAN FRANCISCO 1, CALIF. It bears a code number of "CZ-7" and what appears to be a serial number of "251698".
The description on the back reads: "CHICAGO'S NEW ZOO AT BROOKFIELD"
"Children's Zoo and Farm -- Here children (and adults) may mingle with many species of wild and domestic young or baby animals. A typical, small-scale Illinois farm with barn, silo, windmill and pens is to be seen, showing calves, colts, lambs, pigs, chicks and ducklings. At feeding time children are invited to bottle-feed some of the baby animals."

Date: Not dated but I'm fairly certain the card is from the 1950s.
Condition: Very good, I'd say. The card is unused, but the corners have faint diagonal impressions due to storage in a traditional postcard album. There's also a small amount of foxing on the back. (Please see scans).
