An incredibly charming and bright souvenir tablecloth celebrating Holland or The Netherlands. I call this a souvenir cloth but it has no words on it so technically it probably isn't one. However the graphics speak all things Dutch more than any words.
The tablecloth is off white printed with primary colors showing Dutch children in traditional costume against backdrops of windmills, boats and little houses. Each scene is set in a stylized tulip.
In the corner scenes a boy is pouring milk into a girl's bowl. His milk cans are on a cart pulled by a dog. The scenes along the sides show a boy and girl sharing the chore of carrying a milk jug. The center of the tablecloth is a frame of bright tulips.
The tablecloth is 50 x 52 inches. It is made of synthetic. The weave looks like rayon but the face has the satiny feel of old nylon. The fabric is a heavy weight, not at all flimsy. It is very slippery like nylon. This is a very old tablecloth in remarkable condition. No stains, holes or thin spots.
