Ystad is struck by several well planned and spectacular robberies against armoured money trucks, where cars are put on fire, highways cut off and millions of kronor gone. The rookies Isabelle and Pontus is near by and begins the hunt after the criminals, but ends with the capture of Pontus. Kurt Wallander and his colleagues works in a wide net which leads them to Sven Adelgren, an older friend of Wallander, who no works with Skandiguard - the company that is responsable for the armoured money trucks...
