The pics look blue and outside it looks like a purply blue. Inside in artificial light it is a gorgeous purple color. nice lightweight satin noy heavy and cumbersome. Wonderful pleating at the bust and skirt. Side zipper with hooks and eyes. The back is most unusual with the bands that flow down from the shoulders. The dress looks so pretty when you move but that is impossible to capture with a still photo. The hem is finishedthis dress IS in its original condition NO changes have been madeStand out from the crowd this summer in one of a kind vintage. You surely WONT see yourself coming and going all over town. The dress is in very good vintage condition. There is about a 1/4" section of the front dart that could be restitched if it bothered you.
