A famous star attorney, Patrik Hansson, is found brutally murdered in his appartment. In the appartment is also a young woman that informed the police about the murder. When Beck and his partners arrives at the crime scene they find clear murder motives. Hansson was just about to close a case against an multinational company and he hade high chances in winning the case. When Beck digges deeper into Hanssons life they soon find out that he wasn't such a good person himself. He lived in an grey area and hade many connections to the underworld. Has his murder nothing to do with his case? Or is there completly different people involved with completly different motives?
