5 kurus stamp (olive green) printed probably at some time in mid 20th Century at Courvoisier S.A. with a drawing of Elazig houses with mountain backdrop on it. Elazig is a city located at the Eartern Anatolia Region.
5 kurus stamp (blue) printed probably at some time in mid 20th Century at Courvoisier S.A. with a drawing of Denizli houses with mountain backdrop on it. Denizli is a city located at the Eagean Sea Region (inland). It is most famous for the snow white calcareous deposits in Pamukkale.
5 kurus stamp (blue) printed probably at some time in mid 20th Century at Courvoisier S.A. with a drawing of Istanbul including the big mosque with Marmara Sea as backdrop on it. Istanbul is the largest Turkish city which has been the capital of the Ottoman Empire for majority of the Empires existance. With the fall of the Empire Ankara has replaced the status of Turkish capital. Istanbul is located on both Asia and Europe divided in two by the Marmara Sea. Also has shores on the Black Sea.
