This letter holder is hand painted using the traditional batik painting techniques. A face motif often found on ancient Chinese bronzes is painted on this piece; a similar motif is painted on the bottom pockets. Bronze work and batik painting styles are both very ancient art forms in China. The bottom pockets can hold your mail and bills.
