This pair is deadstock brand new with original box, lacelocks and retro card.
DESCRIPTION:
The Air Jordan V was first released in the ?9-?0 season. It was then re-released in January 2000. It was designed after a WWII fighter jet and it has regular encapsulated Air in the heal. It is the first Jordan to have the clear outsole. Notice the Jumpman logo in the sole of the forefoot and crown shaped reflective tongue, truly two unique qualities to a great and comfortable shoe. The Air Jordan V Retro would make for a great addition to any shoe collection or if you just to ball in them. Yellow soles makes collectors see red - the clear rubber sole would return in later designs such as VI, XI and XVI and has upset several collectors since it very easily turns yellow. Once it's yellow there is no way to get it back to its original look. Seems the only way to save them is to store the shoes in a cool and dry place and never take them out of their box. Gel packs also help keep the moisture away which is a very good thing.This is a true collectors item. If you just started your own shoe collection or want to start one, whether it a Jordan collection or not, this shoe is a must have for ANY collection.
