When I first started reading this book I thought it sounded familiar, then I noticed in fine print in the beginning it said a condensed version of "The Tough Minded Optimist" which I had recently read. I decided to go ahead and read it again. It's that good! You are what you feed your mind and this is good nourishment.
Dr. Peale talks about being an effective steward of the resources God has given. "In short, you might say it is to make everything and everyone you touch a little bit better," he writes. This book left me a little better. He encourages you to keep a record of prayers over the years to remind yourself of God's involvement in your life. He talks about trusting God and leaving the results to Him. This is a faith-feeding book.
