H L USA silver leatherette clutch purse evening bag bold 60s vintage ll1521

This evening bag is straight out of the 1960s. It is made of metallic silver leather or leatherette and is a basic envelope with fold over flap and a large faux buckle to weight the flap in place. The inside is lined in pearl gray satin and is marked HL USA. The bag measures 6 x 10½ inches. It is quite a roomy evening bag. Condition is excellent vintage. It has been handled but was probably never used. Those marks on the inside are shadows from where the inner stiffening has bent. There are no marks on the lining or exterior leather.
