1950s vintage black satin evening bag w tuckable chain ll1523

A very svelte 1950s evening bag with interesting gold frame. The bag is sleek and sophisticated and is merely heavy black satin gathered onto a gold tone combination brushed and polished gold frame. It has a lift and click down clasp. The back of the purse has a solid polished gold frame. The inside is lined with gold satin. The bag has a gold tone wrist chain that tucks neatly into the bag.

The bag is unmarked except for Made in USA stamped on the bottom of the lining and IDEAL on the gold hinges of the frame. With the exception of the mark on the lining shown in a photo, the bag does not look used. It is in exceptional condition. White specks are dust particles. Photographed outside.
