Series Synopsis:
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 takes place one year after the catastrophic failure of the "Black Rebellion." The Holy Britannian Empire has tightened its brutal grip on Area 11 (formerly Japan), and the rebel group known as the Black Knights has been shattered.
The story follows Lelouch Lamperouge, a brilliant exiled Britannian prince who has had his memories wiped by his tyrannical father, the Emperor. After a chance encounter with the mysterious, immortal woman C.C., Lelouch's memories break free. Reclaiming his god-like power of absolute obedience (Geass) and his masked alter-ego, Zero, Lelouch sets out to finish what he started. He ignites a final, explosive revolution to destroy the Britannian Empire, liberate Japan, and build a peaceful world—no matter the devastating personal cost.
