40 FT Container Pool - Classic Design is a 40ft standard-height ISO container hull (40'-0" × 8'-0") converted into a welded steel swimming vessel. The cargo doors are removed and the end wall is closed with a welded steel bulkhead; the original wood floor is replaced with a continuous welded steel floor pan carried on C6×8.2 bearers at 2 ft centers. The corrugated walls are reinforced with 12 external C6×8.2 stiffener hoops at 3 ft spacing tied into a HSS 4×4×1/4 perimeter ring beam at the coping. The water body is 38'-0" × 7'-6" at 4'-6" flat bottom, holding approximately 9,600 gallons, and the vessel bears on a reinforced concrete slab sized in this unit's structural calculations package.
