Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FX38 GT 10MP Digital Camera (Japanese Version) #2629
Includes camera, wrist strap and battery. No charger, memory card, cable, manual, software or other accessories. S/N FG8KA002629, Made in Japan(2008).
Poor but acceptable cosmetic condition. The rubber coating(anti-slip) was getting sticky due to aging and we managed to removed it. By removing the coating, body surface shows a lot a scratches. LCD display window has a few scratches. Lens glass is clear and no visible scratch found. Wrist strap has been washed and cleaned.
Tested in working order but has two minor issues: 1) Half-way focusing is weak, you'll have to press the shutter button gently to get a focus confirmation before pressing further to release the shutter. This is not a big issue as focusing of this camera is fast and accurate. You won't get blurry images even if you release the shutter right away without hearing the confirmation beep. 2) Some moisture entered the backlight of the LCD screen(see pictures #6 and #7). You'll see brighten spots at an angle. but not quite noticeable when you look straight while framing. Default language setting is in Japanese but we've set it to English. Kastar battery is nearly new and holds very good charge.
