The Dwarf Fishtail Palm is a clustering, stemless palm with large, pinnate leaves. It is native to Asia. It grows in lowland and montain rainforests, often in rocky places and on slopes. Grows up to 18 feet tall and 12 feet wide. Leaves are long, arching and dark green. Leaflets have silvery-white lower surfaces. It likes abundant water and light shade to shade. Tolerant of light frosts. Hardy in zones 9-12.
