MHC MEPIFORM is a self-adherent, sterile silicone bandage designed to reduce and prevent hypertrophic and keloid scars. Its soft, flexible material conforms to the skin, providing discreet and comfortable scar management for both old and new scars.
Indications for Use
Indicated for the prevention and treatment of hypertrophic and keloid scars resulting from surgical procedures, trauma, burns, or other skin injuries. Suitable for use on both healed wounds and existing scars.
Recommended Daily Dose
The bandage should be worn continuously for optimal results, ideally 24 hours per day, with removal only for cleaning and skin inspection. Treatment duration varies depending on scar age and severity, often requiring several weeks to months.
Directions for Use
Clean and dry the scar area before application. Remove the protective film and apply the bandage directly over the scar. The bandage is self-adherent and does not require additional fixation. It can be reused after gentle washing with mild soap and water. Replace when adhesion decreases or the bandage becomes worn.
Composition
Made from soft silicone (Safetac® technology) with a polyurethane backing film, ensuring gentle adhesion, moisture balance, and durability.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children below 25°C / 77°F.
