Here is a pair of Homer Laughlin HARLEQUIN PENGUIN Maverick salt and pepper Shakers from their old Fiesta line of dinnerware. What makes them unusual, and rare, is that they are finished in a lusterware, icy blue, glaze. They still have the trademark Maverick gold trim but the translucent blue sets them apart. There is virtually no gold loss on either penguin, also unusual for pieces of this age. They are essentially in mint condition--but come without their stoppers.
