Description

The Book of Eli 3D (2010) – a post-apocalyptic action film with deep philosophical undertones, starring Denzel Washington as a lone wanderer guarding the last copy of the Bible in a ruined world. The film impresses with its contrasts: brutal "Mad Max"-style fights alternate with quiet moments of spiritual quest. In 3D, the vast deserts feel tangible, dust storms make you want to close your eyes, and every hit in fight scenes has physical impact. If you enjoyed or "Children of Men" but wanted more action – this film perfectly balances bleak atmosphere and dynamism.
