GDR Cosmos Luna-9 1966

This GDR (East Germany) stamp from 1966 commemorates the Luna-9 Soviet space probe's soft landing on the Moon. The stamp features a detailed depiction of the probe against a lunar landscape, presented in shades of gray and orange, and is in excellent, uncanceled condition.
