This is absolutely lovely in person! The coloring and the way this antique chromolithograph print was produced. They actually EXTRA COLORED (IT) SUPPLEMENT. NO. 18.
Just imagine yourself walking through a large apple orchard with the trees just opening up and blooming in the springtime. Lots of tall grasses surround the orchards as you are walking along a dirt walkway path. The blooms are lovely in tones of whites and pinks. (I tried to show you at various angles in the photos of the EXTRA COLORING on the blossoms that make this print beautiful!).
Print is TITLED: APPLE BLOSSOMS - A SPRING SCENE. BY GEORGE GIBSON. COPYRIGHT, WILLIAM WHITLOCK, 1885. ~ ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. ART INTERCHANGE, MARCH 26, 1885.
Overall with the white (age toned) border measures: 13-1/2 inches wide by 9-7/8 inches high. Measurement of JUST the print image measures: 13 inches wide by 6 inches high. EXCELLENT CONDITION OF THIS ANTIQUE IMAGE. The beige edge border has a tear going up from the bottom left area, but NOT into the print image. VERY SUITABLE FOR FRAMING!!!
