Dazey Seal a Meal Vacuum Sealer SAM-1 - With SAM-838 Box and Instructions - 1965 / 1976 Vintage

This is the original Seal a Meal vacuum sealer from Dazey. The tag on the underside of the lid says it is the first model: SAM-1, which would have been the first model from around 1965. The box says SAM-838 and the instructions / recipe book are dated 1976. As shown, it comes with the SAM-838 box and previously mentioned instruction / recipe book. The unit itself looks to be in excellent condition, looking like it has seen very little, if any use. The box has heavy wear from age and normal handling. See pictures for details.
