Young Americans is an American drama television series created by Steven Antin. The show debuted on July 12, 2000, on The WB network as a summer replacement for, and spin-off from another Columbia TriStar Television production, Dawson's Creek.
A spinoff of Dawson's Creek, this drama explores themes of forbidden love, morality, social classes, and gender roles in a prestigious boarding school setting.
Gifted Will Krudski cheats on his entry exam to a private school. In a world of privilege and wealth, his blue-collar roommate sticks out, while Jake (a girl disguised as a boy) tries to melt into the background.
