Believe is one of those shows that got away. Co-created by visionary director Alfonso Cuarón, it tells the story of a young girl born with special supernatural abilities and the forces looking to protect her against those who want to use her for their own ends. Compelling and touching in equal measure, it was canceled before it's time, after a single season, but is now ripe for rediscovery on DVD.
